Keeping Children Safe On the Website
Photographs of children appear on the website. When a child's image appears the following rule is applied:
- Where an image of a pupil is displayed then no name linking the image to the pupil is used.
Contact details or surnames of pupils are not used on the website.
regard to photographs appering on the website, the school asks the
permission of parents/carers before allowing images to appear.
.How personal information is dealt with on the website
No personally identifiable information is used on the website. The website is organised in the following way.
- There is no facility for a visitor to enter a user name and password on the website.
- No personal details - name, address, phone number or email address are stored on the site.
- No financial transactions take place on the site.
the Contacting Us page there is no contact form for a visitor to fill
in. Instead there are email contact buttons which a visitor can click
on to make contact with the school.
- On the Contacting Us page a static map giving the location of the school is displayed rather than a Google interactive map.

When a visitor comes to the website the LCN servers log the visit. Over
a period of time it is possible for us to log into the LCN portal to
see how many visitors have come to the website, how long they have
stayed, which pages they have visited and what part of the world they
have come from. This is useful information in that it gives statistical
information about which pages are the most popular. As no personal user
information is used on the website it is very unlikely that any
persoanl details can be tracked after visiting the site. The
information that is collected by the LCN servers stays within the
comapany on their servers.
