Welcome to The Godolphin Junior Academy.
Welcome to The Godolphin Junior Academy, a four form entry junior school, situated in the heart of our Slough community. We are proud to be part of The Park Federation Academy Trust. The Park Federation is one of the longest established and most experienced primary federations in the country with ten schools across Slough, Buckinghamshire and Hillingdon. All schools within the federation are graded by Ofsted as Good or Outstanding.
At Godolphin, we are proud of every child who enters the doors of our school, and we nurture and encourage the potential of every pupil. Our school motto is 'Godolpin Grows Success' because we are driven to meet the needs of every pupil, and provide them with the very best learning opportunities so that every child can thrive and flourish.
We have a wonderfully diverse community at Godolphin which is a key strength of our academy. We celebrate this diversity and promote inclusion throughout our engaging and stimulating curriculum.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school, and we are committed to ensuring that we are ambitious for every child. At Godolphin, every teacher is a teacher of SEND and our approach is always that we 'meet needs, not labels'.
There are three diamond rules at Godolphin which we expect our whole school community to be committed to. These rules are used more as values and life skills which we actively teach our pupils and embed throughout our curriculum. These values are key to making our school the caring and welcoming school that it is, and will enable our pupils to be socially adept, active citizens who contribute positively to society.
- Care for everyone and everything
- Show respect and good manners at all times
- Follow instructions with care and thought
Our school is warm and welcoming which is evident as soon as you step foot in the door. We are proud to be a happy, safe school that fosters a love of learning and a lust for life!
